On January 3, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host its first T20 match in over 13 months. The second and third matches will be held on January 5 and 7, respectively, at Pune and Rajkot. Hardik Pandya captains the T20 team for the BCCI, while Rohit leads the ODI team. The BCCI just revealed the playing XI for both formats. Due to his thumb injury sustained during the Bangladesh trip, Rohit Sharma is not available. While Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul's absences make it possible for inexperienced players to try their luck, it also serves as a test of quality without the three-star players. The trio will rejoin the ODI team but won't be eligible for the T20Is.
