For a multi-format series, Sri Lanka will go to India. The ODI and T20I series between IND and SL in 2023 will be conducted. There are three matches in the T20I series. Three games will be played in the ODI series as well.

The squads for the series have been made public by both sides. The India ODI series captain is Rohit Sharma. In the T20I series, India is headed by Hardik Pandya. Dasun Shanaka leads the Sri Lankan team in both the ODI and T20I series.
