 Indian cricket fans expect a jam-packed month of excitement in January as Team India prepares to play 11 matches in a single month. Team India will begin the new year by hosting the Sri Lankan team for three T-20 matches and as many ODIs after a mixed tour of Bangladesh.

The first Twenty20 game between India and Sri Lanka will be contested in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium on January 3, kicking off the series. India will welcome New Zealand to the subcontinent after Sri Lanka.

Led by Hardik Pandya, Team India is all geared up to face Sri Lanka in the first T20I game starting on January 3, 2023. The Men in Blue are riding high on confidence after whitewashing Bangladesh in two tests and would like to begin the new year with a win. Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium will host the first match followed by Pune and Rajkot on January 5 and 7. India Playing XI against SL for T20s and ODIs

 

For a multi-format series, Sri Lanka will go to India. The ODI and T20I series between IND and SL in 2023 will be conducted. There are three matches in the T20I series. Three games will be played in the ODI series as well.

First, the T20I series will be played, then the ODI series. The three T20 Test matches between India and Sri Lanka will be played on January 3, 5, and 7. The three ODI contests are planned for January 10, 12, and 15.

The squads for the series have been made public by both sides. The India ODI series captain is Rohit Sharma. In the T20I series, India is headed by Hardik Pandya. Dasun Shanaka leads the Sri Lankan team in both the ODI and T20I series.

IND vs SL 2023: Match schedules and live stream

 On January 3, 2023, a T20I match will kick off Sri Lanka’s tour of India. The venue is Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. While the ODI series will be played at 2 PM IST / 08:30 AM GMT, the T20I matches will be played at 7 PM IST / 01:30 PM GMT.
